This is a workshop for arrangers on all levels, who are looking to explore lyrics, emotion, storytelling and creative writing for pop choirs. In this workshop we will dive into the scores of "True North", "Winter" and the brand new arrangement "Barndommens Gade", analyze the lyrics' influence on form, backing voices, basslines, re-harmonization and melody-lines. We will explore methods for getting creative using the lyrics as inspiration and toward the end of the workshop we will also have a look at complex basslines and grooves from other arrangements that can support a dramatic and powerful expression of your arrangements.
